Freaky Friday sketch- on demand from my children.
Troubling Thursday drawings
Two sketch ideas for dark ride stunts- inspired by memories of Kennywood Park’s Le Cachot ride.
Worrying Wednesday art-
The back cover of my comic, It’s Alive! Equal inspiration from Mondrian and Hammer Films.
Terrifying Tuesday drawing- a rejected seance scene from my comic, Starling Hall.
Morbid Monday drawing
From a planned comic adaptation of the vampire novelette, Carmilla.
Kind of spooky Sunday drawing.
From the back cover of Wunderkammer 2
This was the cover illustration to the second volume of Sean’s comic, Wunderkammer.
Friday eerie sketch
It’s a big head in a hole in the floor. But I’m not sure what else going on in this.
Spooky sketch 10/17 – With Halloween approaching, I will steer my art posts toward spooky subjects. Here is a sketch from a Frankenstein comic I attempted. Young Victor contemplates his future, inspired by Batman’s origin story.
There was an earlier influence on this series… a B&W strip which ran in Heavy Metal magazine in the late 70’s-early 80’s, I think just called The Bus.
